About Slow Roads
Slow Roads is an endless driving game about the journey rather than the destination. The road and the landscape around it are generated as you go, through forests, hills, coastlines and off-world terrain, with seasons and weather you can change. There are no opponents, no timer and no score: you just drive, adjust the scenery and vehicle, or turn on autodrive and watch the world roll past. It became one of the best-loved relaxing games on the web.
Slow Roads in the browser
slowroads.io is the official free web version by its creator, Anslo, released under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence. Press Begin and you are on the road within seconds, with no account. It supports keyboard, mouse, gamepad and touch controls, and runs on desktop and mobile browsers. A separate paid Steam version adds extra locations, vehicles and traffic, but the browser version stays free.
