About Outward

Outward is an open-world RPG by the Montreal studio Nine Dots, released in March 2019 by Deep Silver. Instead of a chosen hero, you play an ordinary adventurer in the land of Aurai who has to eat, drink, sleep, dress for the weather and treat wounds and diseases. Magic must be unlocked and costs part of your health, everything you own fits in the backpack on your back, and the game saves automatically: when you are defeated, the story carries on, whether you are rescued, robbed or taken prisoner. The whole adventure can be played solo or with a friend, in split-screen or online.
