About Pokémon World
The Pokémon series began in 1996 with Pokémon Red and Green by Game Freak on the Game Boy. Catching creatures, building a team and battling other trainers became one of the biggest franchises in gaming, and fans have been making their own Pokémon games for the browser ever since.
Pokémon World in the browser
Pokémon World is an independent, unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. You can start as a guest in one click; registering inside the game keeps your progress. It is free to play, with optional purchases (such as VIP), ads and some AI-assisted text and art. Like other unofficial fan projects, it could be taken offline at any time.
How to play Pokémon World online
- Use a desktop browser (Chrome or Edge works best).
- Click “Play now”. The game opens in a new tab on the original project's site.

⚠ Never download a launcher or .exe from a browser game page.
Tips for Pokémon World
- Guest progress is tied to your browser, so register in the game before clearing site data.
- Train your starter in the first areas before taking on stronger trainers.
- Build a team with different types so you are not stuck against one weakness.
